Welcome!
I am a PhD Candidate in forest entomology at State University of New York, Environmental Science & Forestry. My advisor is Dr. Melissa Fierke (http://www.esf.edu/faculty/fierke/) in the Department of Environmental and Forest Biology. My advising committee is Dr. Juli Gould and Dr. Nathan Siegert. I study the invasive wood boring insect emerald ash borer (EAB), Agrilus plannipennis Fairmaire (Coeoptera: Buprestidae).

My primary research focus is on the EAB biological control program. Biological control is the introduction of predators from the native range of an invasive insect and offers a long-range, economically, and ecologically sustainable management tool for integrated pest management of invasive insects. biological control is an important component of the integrated pest management of EAB. For more information on my research, visit the RESEARCH tab.
